Phi Gamma Nu | Creating Leaders of Tomorrow
Phi Gamma Nu is a woman founded and co-ed business organization. The Delta Sigma chapter was founded at Miami University in 2020. Our chapter was founded to fill a unique role at Miami that other business organizations have historically failed to fill. We are dedicated not only to the business world but to the full formation of every individual member of our organization. It is insurmountable to us that our members leave Miami with both business related skills and a rationally formed conscious life. We are looking forward to hearing from new applicants and cementing our future at Miami. Below are 4 key details that set us apart from other organizations.
-
A dedication to all majors: Phi Gamma Nu was founded at Miami in part due to the lack of representation and business related resources available for students outside of the Farmer School of Business. Through a diverse board of advisers, a close relationship with FSB and dedication to this idea, we hope to provide a long sought after resource for any non-business student looking to join our world.
-
Our 3 Pillars Guide Us: Phi Gamma Nu was founded on the pillars of Professionalism, Social, and Philanthropy. We firmly believe that these values are essential in helping individuals reach their full potential in all aspects of life.
-
A unique set of speakers: In an effort to better serve our organization we have ensured that speakers and events will cover a large swath of business related fields. We believe that this initiative will not only better serve our membership but also entice non-business majors to delve into new fields.
-
We Value Diversity of Thought: We firmly believe that no organization can exist without disagreement. We encourage all members to speak up, voice their opinions, and have tough conversations with each other. In an increasingly polarized world, we believe that students with different opinions, viewpoints, ideas, and values, should reasonably be able to speak their minds without fear of reprehension.
